  8. Thank you for agreeing to volunteer for Expo '93!    We can't tell you how
  9. much we appreciate you offering your time to have a great expo. Most of you
  10. sent a reply, but we need far more information.  If you could, please reply
  11. right away with the following:

  14. mail Address Any special skills or interests you may have. Are you willing to
  15. do work ahead or during the expo or both
  16.  
  17. Note that you should reply to expo93@nextworld.com, which is not the automatic
  18. reply-to for this message.  As always, it is also OK to send mail to
  19. dlavin@nextworld.com or call Dan at 415-978-3186 (w) or 415-922-6398 (h) with
  20. any questions.

  22. We'll be following up with as many of you as possible on Wednesday and
  23. Thursday by phone, trying to fit you with specific volunteer assignments.
  24.  
  25. Towards that end, we need 5-6 of you each of those nights to be in the Bay
  26. Area helping to make those calls.  Please let us know right away if you can
  27. help with this near term assignment.
  28.  
  29. As we said in earlier e-mail, we have changed the volunteer structure somewhat
  30. this year, eliminating unpopular assignments.  There are several levels of
  31. responsibility and time commitment, and we'll explain those to you as we call.
  32.  
  33. These calls on Wed and Thurs will focus on the volunteer assignments during
  34. expo, but we will send additional info on those fun things we need to get done
  35. before expo.

  37. Thanks so much for volunteering. It turns out, from our database, that many of
  38. you who responded helped out last year. It is a point of pride for all of us
  39. that many of you felt it was worth doing again.
